CAPITOL ROTUNDA

 

 

The Capitol Rotunda features sculpures of prominent Kentuckians including Abraham Lincoln, Jefferson Davis, Henry Clay, Dr. Ephraim McDowell, and Alben Barkley.  

The dome in Kentucky's Capitol rises more than 7 stories in height. It was patterned after the dome of Napoleon's tomb in Paris, France.
