KENTUCKY SUPREME COURT CHAMBERS

This room served as the Court of Appeals until January 1, 1976, when the Supreme Court, the highest court in the Commonwealth, took office here. The room is paneled in solid Honduras mahogany bordered with egg and dart molding. The ceiling is covered in "Old Dutch Metal" leafing hammered to imitate bronze. The chandeliers and sconces are brass imported from England.
