AN ACT relating to charitable gaming.
Amend KRS 238.570, relating to fees on charitable gaming, to include a fee of one-tenth of one percent (0.1%) of the gross receipts of licensed veterans charitable gaming organizations possessing tax exempt status under 26 U.S.C. 501(c)(19); require licensed veterans charitable gaming organizations to remit all moneys due under the newly created subsection to the Kentucky veterans program trust fund established in KRS 40.460.
HB 116 - AMENDMENTS
SCS - Retain original provisions except replace the requirement that the veterans charitable gaming organizations remit the fee directly to the Kentucky veterans trust fund with a requirement that the organizations remit the fee to the Department of Charitable Gaming to be remitted to trust fund; and add language to include charitable gaming organizations which do not possess tax exempt status under 26 U.S.C. sec. 501(c)(19) but are identified in license applications to the Department of Charitable Gaming as any post or organization of past or present members of the Armed Forces.
