AN ACT relating to the handling of wines, fortified wines, and brandies, including the retail sale thereof, by wineries.
Amend KRS 243.155 and 243.156 to permit small and farm wineries to distill brandy, purchase wine, brandy and other distilled spirits, fortify wine, sell wine, fortified wine and brandy at retail and by the drink, and transfer the winery's operations to a bonded off-site premises for a period of up to six months in the event of a casualty loss or for startup operations by a newly licensed small or farm winery; amend KRS 241.010 to conform.
